RESOLUTION No.7~p <br />By Mr. SLOAN <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION REf~UESTING THE FISCAL OFFICER TO <br />CERTIFY TO COUNCTI~ HIS CONCLUSIONS AS TO.THE ESTIMATED. <br />LIFE OF THE IMPROVEMENTS PROPOSED TO BE CONSTRUCTED FROM <br />THE PROCEEDS OF BONDS PROPOSED TO BE EXECUTED AND ALSO TO <br />CERTIFY THE MAXIMUM PYATURITY OF SUCH BONDS IN .ACCORDANCE <br />WITH REVISED CODE SECTION 133.21 AND THE MAXIMUM MATURITY <br />OF THE NOTE ISSUED IN ANTICIPATION OF. SUCH BONDS. <br />WHEREAS, this Gouncil contemplates issuing $17,500.00 bonds, to be issued <br />f.or the improvement of Worton Park Drive, from Hemingway Road, in the Village of <br />Mayfield, by grading and paving with asphaltic concrete materials, together with <br />all necessary appurtenances, all of which construction and improvements shall be <br />in accordance with the general plans, specifications and profiles filed by the <br />Village Engineer with this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, Sections 133.24 and Sections 133.21 of the Revised Code of <br />Ohio require the fiscal officer of the Village of Mayfield to certify to this <br />Council his estimate of the life of the improvements proposed to be constructed <br />from the proceeds of said bonds, and also to certify to this Council the maximum <br />maturity of such bonds in accordance with Section 133.20, including the weighted <br />average of the amounts proposed to be expended for several classes of improvements, <br />and also the maximum maturity of notes issued in anticipation of such. bonds. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO: <br />Sec. 1. That the fiscal officer be, and he is, hereby requested to <br />certify to this Council his conclusions as to the estimated life of the improve- <br />ments proposed to be constructed from the proceeds of said bonds and also to <br />certify to this Council the maximum maturity of such bonds, calculated in <br />accordance with the provisions of Section 133.20 and the maximum maturity of <br />the notes issued in anticipation of such bonds. <br />Sec. 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary to complete the legislation for the issue of said notes, <br />and shall take effect immediately on its adoption as an emergency measure, and <br />is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety. <br />Adopted this 16th of October, 1967. <br />Attest: <br />~ J~~~ ~ <br />i/~`~ ~~/~/~~/ Mayor - President of Council <br />(Seal) / Clerk-Treasurer <br />
