06/15/89 RESOLUTION N0. 89- 34 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />, A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING PHYSIO-CONTROL TO BE THE <br />LOWEST AND SEST BIDDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />ONE (1) LIFEPAK MONITOR WITIi ACCESSORIES, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITfi PHYSIO-CONTROL CORPORATION, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OE MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. In accordance with bids received, pursuant to advertisement <br />required by law, Physio-Control Corporation is hereby declared to be the <br />lowest and best bidder for the purchase of one (1) Lifepak 10 Monitor with <br />accessories. <br />SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute a contract with Physio-Control Corporation in the amount <br />not to exceed Eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Dollars ($8,520.00) £or the <br />aforesaid equipment, in accordance with the specifications upon which the bid <br />was received. <br />SECTION 3. Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open <br />meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and o£ its <br />committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements o£ Sectian 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents o£ Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the bid awarded <br />herein is necessary to maintain effective governmental services.
