RESOLUTIUN N0. 725 <br />By: i~Ir. Schmidt <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE i+'iAYOR AND CLERK-TREASURER OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD TO ENTER INTO A LEASE OF APPROXI- <br />MATELY TEN ACRES OF LAND WITH T.HE COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, FOR <br />RECREt~TIONAL PURPOSES. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Tl~,e Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer of tine Village of Mayfield <br />are hereby authorized to enter into a lease at nominal rental with the County <br />of Cuyahoga, for approximately ten, acres of land, or a part thereof,in the <br />vicinity of Beech Hill Road. Said lease shall be at a nominal rental and <br />shall be cancelable on 90 days written, notice by the County of Cuyahoga, if <br />it has need for the land, and by the Village of Mayfield, if it no longer <br />desires to use the land for recreational purposes. <br />Section 2. This land shall be used for recreational purposes by <br />the Village of Mayfield. <br />Section 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Hayfield and its inhabitants, for the <br />reason that it is imperative that proper recreational facilities be provided <br />during the summer. season, and this Resolution shall be in full force and <br />effect from and after the date of its adoption. <br />Adopted this 20th day of I~fay, 1968. <br />jam''' MAYOR,:= PRES ENT!
