R E S O L U T I O N <br />taEiEREAS, the Mayfield Community suffered a grievous loss in the recent <br />passing of Joseph L. Baird, who had served for four years as Superintendent of <br />the Mayfield School System; and <br />WEiEREAS, said Joseph L. Baird served with distinction in said capacity <br />and his leadership was primarily responsible for the development of a Regional <br />Library in the Village of Mayfield, for the over-all development of the high school <br />site, with the addition now being completed, and for the completion of the new <br />stadium; and <br />~,~IIEREAS, the Millridge School Center for the Hearing Impaired was insti- <br />tuted during his regime; and <br />WIi.EREAS, his leadership spurred plans for a cooperative recreation pro- <br />gram among the four municipalities in the school district. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAXFIELD, <br />OHIO, THAT it express its sense of loss on the passing of Joseph L. Baird, and that <br />the deepest sympathies of the community be extended to his wife, Mary Jane Baird. <br />BY ORDER OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAY.FIELD.
