Carmen <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1(A)(3) OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 85-27 PERTAINING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES <br />OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO SO AS TO PROVIDE ADDI- <br />TIONAL COMPENSATION FOR PART-TIME FIREFIGHTERS, <br />WHO ARE CERTIFIED PARAMEDICS, REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD V ILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 1(A)(3) of Ordinance No. 85-27, <br />enacted by the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio on December 23, 1985, <br />is hereby .amended to read as follows: <br />Section 1. Effective January 1, 1986, the wages, <br />benefits and other terms and conditions of employment <br />for employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio, shall be as <br />follows: <br />A. Wages <br />3. Fire Department Annual Salary Hourly Rate <br /> <br />(d) Firefighter (Part-time, Volunteer) 11.77/first hour; <br />7.05/hr. thereafter <br />WITH PARAMEDIC CERTIFICATION 11.77/FIRST HOUR; <br />8.81/hr. THEREAFTER <br />Section 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this <br />Ordinance in whole or in part, are repealed to the extent necessary to <br />avoid conflict with this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council, and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
