ORDINANCE N0. 87-26 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTTON 1(A)(2) OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 87-8 PERTAINING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES <br />OF MAYFIELD V ILLAGE, OH IO, SO AS TO PROV IDE <br />ADDTTIONAL COMPENSATION FOR FULL-TIN1E POLICE <br />OFFICERS WHO HAVE EMT or EMT-P CERTIFICATIONS, <br />REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT <br />HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1 Section 1(A)(2) of Ordinance No. 87-8 is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: (Deleted material appears like <br />?h-is and new material appears like THIS) <br />Section 1. Effective January 1, 1986, and <br />retroactive thereto, the wages, benefits and other terms <br />and conditions of employment for employees of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, shall be as follows a <br />A. Wages <br />* * * <br />2. Police Department <br />* * * <br />(i) ALL FULL°TIME POLICE OFFICERS WHO OBTAIDI AND <br />MAINTAIN THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATIONS SHALL <br />RECEIVE ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION AS INDICATED: <br />(1) EMT -- $600.00 PER YEAR <br />(2) EMT-P -- $1,200.00 PER YEAR <br />Section 2s All prior ordinances inconsistent with this <br />ordinance in whole or in part are hereby repealed to the extent <br />necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; anr] that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements
