RESOLUTION N0. 87-37 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as Whole <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TERMS, <br />CONDITIONS, AND COMPENSATION FOR <br />THE SERVICES OF THE PROSECUTOR, <br />REPEALING RESOLUTION N0. 87-31 AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, adopted <br />Resolution No. 87-31 on April 20, 1987; and <br />WHEREAS, the said Resolution No. 87-31 contained a typo- <br />graphical error designating the hourly rate of pay for the Prosecutor <br />as Seventy Dollars (570.00) when, in fact, the hourly compensation <br />should have been Seventy Five Dollars (575.00) per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the municipality have <br />further determined that the annual base compensation of the Prosecutor <br />should be increased to Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars (510,800.00) <br />annually; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor's appointment of Vincent A. Feudo as <br />Prosecutor for Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby confirmed subject to <br />the terms, conditions and compensation hereinafter established. <br />Section 2. Effective January 1, 1987, and retroactive <br />thereto, the Prosecutor shall be compensated at the rate of Ten <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars (510,800..00) annually for all services <br />rendered to the municipality in such capacity except as herein <br />otherwise provided. While in attendance at all trials and pretrials <br />in the Lyndhurst Municipal Court on criminal charges brought by <br />Mayfield Village either under its own Codified Ordinances or under the <br />Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and including preliminary hearings <br />in the Lyndhurst Municipal Court on felony charges arising out of <br />Mayfield Village, the Prosecutor shall be compensated at the rate of <br />Seventy Five Dollars (575,00) per hour, payable upon submission of <br />reasonably detailed billings indicating the name of the case, the date <br />and nature of the proceeding and the time spent, <br />Section 3. This contract shall be effective until <br />December 31, 1987 or until the appointment of a successor Prosecutor, <br />whichever is later, provided that either party may cancel this <br />contract upon providing thirty (30) days written notice to the other. <br />Section 4. The Prosecutor shall be responsible directly <br />to the Mayor and shall not be under the supervision or control of the <br />Director of Law. <br />section 5. Resolution No. 87-31 is hereby repealed in its <br />entirety. <br />
