RESOLUTION NO. 87- 45 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OF THE <br />ANIMAL WARDEN AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, has <br />previously enacted Ordinance No. 84-34 establishing the position of <br />Animal Warden; and <br />WHEREAS, Greg Miller has previously been appointed and <br />confirmed as Village Animal warden, his status being that of <br />independent contractor to the municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid legislation provides, in part, that <br />the compensation of the Animal Warden is to be determined by the <br />Council from time-to-time; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. From and after the effective date of this <br />Resolution, Greg Miller, Village Animal Warden, shall be compensated <br />at the rate of Four Hundred Fifty Dollars (5450.00) per month for <br />performing the duties of Animal Warden as set forth in Ordinance No. <br />84-34. <br />Section 2. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 3.
