RESOLUTION N0. 87-52 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 2 OF RESOLUTION N0. <br />86-64 PERTAINING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE PLANS <br />EXAMINER FOR HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, adopted <br />Resolution No. 86-64 confirming the appointment of Noboru Asamoto as <br />the Plans Examiner for Mayfield Village, Ohio, and established the <br />compensation therefor; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village is desirous of <br />amending Section 2 of the aforesaid Resolution pertaining to the <br />compensation of the Plans Examiner; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 86-64 is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: (Deleted material appears like <br />~~i~e and new material appears like THIS) <br />Section 2. The Plans Examiner shall -be-~com~pe~nsa-t-ed <br />a-t #-kre- ~a-t~ -o-f- Tfretrt~ ~' i-v~ -Do-l l~-r~- -(~2~r.-0-0-)- fir- gxxrr- -f~sr <br />-a-13 ~e-r~ic~ -pe-r-f-o-rfined- i-rr ~cao-rdatic~ ~s~ri-t-kr -h-i-s- -ckrt-ins-. <br />AN EMPLOYEE OF THE MUNICIPALITY AND COMPENSATED AT THE <br />RATE OF SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS ($600.00) PER YEAR AND <br />IN CONSIDERATION THEREOF SHALL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND <br />ALL MEETINGS OF THE HAYFIELD VILLAGE ARCHITECTURAL <br />REVIEW BOARD. FOR ALL ADDITIONAL SERVICES OF THE PLANS <br />EXAMINER AS REQUESTED OR AUTHORIZED THE PLANS EXAMINER <br />SHALL BE COMPENSATED AT THE RATE OF TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS <br />($25.00) PER HOUR. <br />Section 2. All other provisions of Resolution No. 86-64 <br />shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that this Resolution provides compensation for an essential <br />municipal employee. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon <br />passage by the affirmative vote of not less than four (4) members <br />
