RESOLUTION N0. 87- 68 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUIT-CLAIM DEED FROM THE BESSEMER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO HAYFIELD VILLAGE FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 831-36-003, REPEALING RESOLUTION N0. 87-61 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, The Bessemer Development Corporation has expressed its intention to transfer to the municipality, by Quit-Claim Deed, a certain parcel of land located on Wilson Mills Road known as Permanent Parcel No. 831-36-003; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village have determined that it is in the best interests of the community to accept the transfer of title as expressed by The Bessemer Development Corporation; and WHEREAS, as an expression of that determination to accept the said transfer of property the Council of Mayfield Village adopted Resolution No. 87-61 on July 20, 1987 accepting the said transfer; and WHEREAS, attached to the said Resolution was a copy of the executed Quit-Claim Deed; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the aforementioned Resolution and of the execution of the aforementioned Quit-Claim Deed The Bessemer Development Corporation expressed a desire to include in the said Quit-Claim Deed a restriction requiring that the transferred parcel remain zoned single-family residential for a period of at least thirty (30) years; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village have further determined that it is still in the best interests of the municipality to accept the said transfer with the aforementioned deed restriction; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, do hereby accept the transfer of Permanent Parcel No. 831-36-003 from The Bessemer Development Corporation to Mayfield Village, Ohio, as evidenced by the revised Quit-Claim Deed attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein as if fully rewritten. entirety. Section 2. Resolution No. 87-61 is hereby repealed in its Section That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in
