RESOLUTION N0. 87- 68 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUIT-CLAIM DEED FROM THE <br />BESSEMER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS <br />PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 831-36-003, REPEALING <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-61 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, The Bessemer Development Corporation has expressed <br />its intention to transfer to the municipality, by Quit-Claim Deed, a <br />certain parcel of land located on Wilson Mills Road known as Permanent <br />Parcel No. 831-36-003; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village have <br />determined that it is in the best interests of the community to accept <br />the transfer of title as expressed by The Bessemer Development <br />Corporation; and <br />WHEREAS, as an expression of that determination to accept <br />the said transfer of property the Council of Mayfield Village adopted <br />Resolution No. 87-61 on July 20, 1987 accepting the said transfer; and <br />WHEREAS, attached to the said Resolution was a copy of the <br />executed Quit-Claim Deed; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the aforementioned <br />Resolution and of the execution of the aforementioned Quit-Claim Deed <br />The Bessemer Development Corporation expressed a desire to include in <br />the said Quit-Claim Deed a restriction requiring that the transferred <br />parcel remain zoned single-family residential for a period of at least <br />thirty (30) years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village have <br />further determined that it is still in the best interests of the <br />municipality to accept the said transfer with the aforementioned deed <br />restriction; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, do hereby accept the transfer of Permanent Parcel No. 831-36-003 <br />from The Bessemer Development Corporation to Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />as evidenced by the revised Quit-Claim Deed attached hereto, marked <br />Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein as if fully rewritten. <br />entirety. <br />Section 2. Resolution No. 87-61 is hereby repealed in its <br />Section That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />
