ORDINANCE N0. 78-17 <br />gy: Mrs. Shiela Hanus <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE PROHIBITING A RIGHT <br />TURN AGAINST A STEADY RED SIGIdAL AT WILSON <br />MILLS AND S.O.M. CENTER ROAD. <br />WHEREAS, Section 4511.13 of the Ohio Revised Code, effec- <br />tive July 1, 1975, permits drivers of motor vehicles to make a <br />right turn after stopping for a steady red signal unless such turn <br />is prohibited by ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, such a right turn at specified intersections <br />with Mayfield Village would create hazardous traffic conditions; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. At the following specified place, drivers of <br />motor vehicles shall be prohibited from making a right turn against <br />a steady red signal: eastbound on Wilson Mills Road at S.O.M. Center <br />Road. <br />Section 2. Signs shall be posted at said intersection, <br />ind'rcating that no right turn may be made on a red signal. <br />Section 3. This is an emergency ordinance, immediate_ <br />passage of which is necessary for the general health, safety and <br />welPare oP the residents for the reason stated in the preamble.
