INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Beebe and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO ED4IARD J. <br />LOESCH AS ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR, <br />ON THE OCCASION.OF HIS RETIREMENT. <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch has been the Assistant Electrical <br />Inspector in Mayfield Village in excess of ten years and remained <br />in this capacity until December 31, 1978; and <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch was instrumental in the develop- <br />ment of passage of legislation establishing an Electrical Safety <br />Inspection Law in Ohio, which is unparalleled in the United States; and <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch was appointed to the Electrical <br />Safety Inspector's Advisory Board by the State Board of Building <br />Standards dn September 24, 1970, becoming its first and only Chairman; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch was issued a certificate of <br />competency #1: as an Electrical Safety Inspector on April 1, 1971, <br />by the State Board of Building Standards;and <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch developed an Electrical Safety <br />Inspector Trainee Program, as well as referesher courses, and also <br />taught the pilot courses in regularly scheduled Trainee and P.efresher <br />courses; and, <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch kept the State Board of Building <br />Standards abreast of technilogical advancements in the electrical <br />industry and in the National Electrical Code; and, <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch has served in a variety of <br />capacities in conjunction with his profession over the years such <br />as Chairman of the Ohio Chapter of the International Association of <br />Electrical Inspectors and member of the Board of Directors of the <br />International Association of Electrical Inspectors, President of the <br />Western Section of the International Association of Electrical <br />Inspectors; and, <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch was commended by Governor James <br />Rhodes in June , 1978, for his efforts to improve the Electrical <br />Safety Inspection Program in Ohio; and, <br />WHEREAS, Edward J. Loesch has made immeasurable contribution <br />to Mayfield Village by his assistance as an Assistant Electrical <br />Inspector and by his dedication and devotion to the maintenance and <br />improvement of Mayfield Village for which all residents owe a debt <br />of gratitude; now, therefore,
