RESOLUTION NO. 79-41 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO DOROTHY F. <br />HOWES. <br />WHEREAS, DOROTHY F. HOWES began her employment with <br />Mayfield Village on September 16, 1964 as Clerk-Secretary to the <br />Mayor's Court; and <br />WHEREAS, DOROTHY F. HOWES has served as Secretary to <br />Chiefs Shortl and Stevens; and <br />WHEREAS, DOROTHY F. HOWES will leave the employ of Mayfield <br />Village effective June 21, 1979; and <br />WHEREAS, DOROTHY F. HOWES has distinguished herself during <br />this period of time by her faithful and diligent attention to the <br />duties which have come before her; and <br />WHEREAS, DOROTHY F. HOWES should not be allowed to leave <br />the employ of Mayfield Village without an expression of the apprecia- <br />tion which she rightfully deserves; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, for its own <br />members, on behalf of the administration, employees and citizens of <br />the Village, expresses its deep appreciation and thanks to DOROTHY <br />F. HOWES for her faithful and devoted service to Mayfield Village. <br />Section 2. The Clerk is authorized, empowered and directed <br />to prepare duplicate original copies of this Resolution. One such <br />copy shall be placed in the permanent records of Mayfield Village as <br />a lasting momento to the service of DOROTHY F. HOWES. The other <br />original copy shall be delivered to MRS. HOWES as a small token of <br />appreciation felt £or her in this Village. <br />Section 3.
