RESOLUTION N0. 79-63 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as A Whole <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ASSESSMELdT EQUALIZATION <br />BOARD TO HEAR OBJECTIOVS TO ESTIMATED ASSESS;TENTS <br />WITH ?tESPECT TO THE IL9PROVEPQENT OF ECHO DRIVE BY <br />HAVING IT REPAVED AAID REDITCHED; DECLARING AN F.L1ER <br />WHEREAS, this Council did, on the 6th day of August, 1979, <br />duly adopt Resolution 79-52, declaring the necessity of improving <br />Echo Drive by having it repaved and reditched; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution the estimated assess- <br />ments for said improvement have been prepared and placed on file in <br />the office of the Clerk of this Council; and <br />; WHBREAS, notice of the passage of said Resolution and the <br />filing of said estimated assessment has been duly served upon all <br />prooerty owners to be assessed in the manner provided by law; and <br />WHEREAS, written objections to said estimated assessments <br />have been filed by one or more such prooerty owners; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Florian Ricky, Harold Rassau and Santo Basilie, <br />three (3) disinterested freeholders of Mayfield Village, be and the <br />same hereby are appointed as an Assessment Equalization Board to <br />hear and determine all written objections filed in accordance with <br />law to the estimated assessments heretofore filed with the Clerk of <br />this Council pursuant to Resolution 79-52. Said Board is hereby <br />authorized and directed to equalize such assessments as it deems <br />proper to conform to the standards prescribed by said Resolution <br />79-52 and by law. <br />Section 2. Said Assessment Equalization Board shall meet <br />at R.on_ o'clock P.M. on the 6i-h day of ?nPte?er . <br />1979, at the Dlayfield Village Hall, Council chambers, 6621 Wilson <br />Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the purposes as aforesaid <br />and upon completion of such hearing and any adjournments thereof, <br />shall report its recommendations, including any changes which should <br />be made in the estimated assessment,to this Council. <br />Section 3. The Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to notify, by Certified Mail, each person <br />who has timely filed written objections to said estimated assess- <br />ment of the time and place of said hearing of said Assessment <br />Equalization Board.
