Ordinance No. 74- 26 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Schulte <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT WITH <br />SUCCESSFUL BIDDER FOR PORTABLE POLICE RADIOS <br />FOR THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD. <br />WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the bid of Syntonic <br />Technology, Inc., for providing four portable police radios for the <br />Village of Mayfield is the best bid received after advertising. <br />THEREEORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk Treasurer be and they are <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Syntonic <br />Technology, In¢. for four portable police radios for the Village of <br />Mayfield in accordance with the specifications upon which such bid was <br />received. <br />Section 2. Council declares this to be emergency ordinance <br />necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, <br />such emergency arising out of a necessity to coordinate the coffinunications <br />of the Mayfield Village Police Department with those of other departments <br />in Cuyahoga and adjoining counties to facilitate the efficient, proper, <br />and due administration of police business without undue delay; wherefore, <br />this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br />Passed this 20th day of M ay , 1974. <br />., <br />- PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />($ L) CLERK-TREASURER <br />(
