SChtllte <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR <br />AND CLERK-TREASURER TO TAKE COMPETITIVE BIDS <br />WITHOUT ADVERTISING AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 1973 JEEP EOR THE SERVICE <br />DEPARTMIIdT, VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, OHIO, AND TO <br />DECLARE AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, in order to properly maintain and operate the Service Department <br />of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, it is i.mmediately necessary to enter into a <br />contract for the purchase of a 1973 Jeep; and <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the daily operation of the Service Depart- <br />ment, and it is immediately necessary to enter into a contract for said equipment <br />for the iumediate preservation of the public health, peace, property and safety; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYA130GA COUNTY, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer be and they are hereby authorized <br />? and directed to take competitive bids without advertising and enter into a contract <br />for the purchase of a 1973 Jeep to be used by the Service Department. <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated the sum of $ 3,150.00 or so much <br />thereof as may be needed for this purpose. <br />Section 3.
