ORDINANCE N0. 75-6 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Bordonaro <br />AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THROUGH TRAFFIC BY CONRIERCIAL <br />TRACTORS AND COtM1ERCIAL CARS ON CERTAIN ROADS AND HIGHWAYS <br />IN MAYFIELD VILLAGE; REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 74-21A; AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio finds and determines that <br />immediate action is necessary to prevent deterioration and disrepair of the following <br />named roads and highways by reason of the use ther.eof as access roads for through <br />traffic by commercial tractors and coffinercial cars and to reduce the excessive cost <br />of repair to said roads resulting from said commercial traffic, said roads and high- <br />ways being as £ollows: <br />Joyce Road Hickory Hill Drive <br />Robin Circle Oakton Circle <br />Raleigh Drive Blueberry Circle <br />Derby Drive Woodbine Circle <br />Chase Drive Thornapple Drive <br />Foxboro Drive Robley Lane <br />Northboro Drive Seneca Road <br />Aintree Park Drive Glenview Road <br />Hunt Circle Bonnieview Road <br />Sandalwood Drive Sdorton Park Drive <br />Butternut Drive North Woodlane Road <br />Walnut Drive Woodlane Road <br />Oakwood Drive South Woodlane Road <br />Kenwood Drive Norman Lane <br />Ravine Drive Beach-Hill Road <br />Eastgate Drive Hemingway Drive <br />Meadowood Drive Metro Park Drive <br />Zorn Lane Beechers Brook Road <br />:. <br />WHEREAS, Council further finds that Wilson Mills Road, east of SOM Center <br />Road, is a highly dangerous stretch of highway due to its minimum width, the hill <br />at the east end of Wilson Mills Road, the numerous curves, connecting streets and <br />many access driveways cross this portion of Wilson Mills Road to be dangerous to <br />safety as the result of the continuously expanding volume of traffic; and <br />WHEREAS, Council further finds and determ3nes that no hardship will result fzom <br />the closing of said roads and highways to through traffic by commercial tractors and <br />commercial cars, for the reason that other adequate alternate routes are available <br />through'said Village for such type of traffic. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TfiE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />THAT: <br />? <br />Section 1.
