Ordinance No. 76- 27 <br />Introduced by: Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE COST OF ABATING A <br />NUISANCE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. This Council finds that the Building Commissioner has abated <br />a nuisance after notifying the owners of the property on which said nuisance origin- <br />ated in writing, by letter dated August 13, 1976, deposited in the U.S. Mail, <br />certified, return receipt requested, and has reported the cost of such abatement, <br />all in the manner provided by law. <br />Section 2. The owners of the property are Russell A. Gullo and M. A. Gullo. <br />Section 3. The property is known as Auditor's Permanent Parcel No. 831-13-5. <br />Section 4. The basis of the assessment is to abate a dangerous condition <br />and an unattractive nuisance, to-wit: a cistern. <br />Section 5. The cost of abating the nuisance is $103.00. <br />Section 6. The amotmt of $103.00 is hereby assessed on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 831-13-5 and such assessment is certified for collection upon the next auditor's <br />tax duplicate in the same manner as general taxes. <br />Section 7. Coimcil declares this to be an emergency ordinance necessary for <br />the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, such emergency arising out <br />of the necessity to abate a nuisance without undue delay, in order to correct a <br />situation now deemed undesirable; wherefore, this ordinance shall take effect and <br />be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />Adopted: October 18, 1976 <br />Attest: <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL O <br />Approve . 6 <br />MAYOR <br />I
