ORDINANCE N0. 91-Z3 <br />IIY: MR. Boaer <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KUSTOM SIGNALS, <br />P~IC. FOR THE LEASING OF RADAR EQUIPMENT <br />WHEREAS, Kustom Signals, Inc., a responsible bidder duly filed its bid <br />~oith the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in accordance with law, <br />offering to lease to the Village a TR 6 Traffic Radar System, in accordance with <br />the specifications, for a period of 36 months, at a monthly rental of $58.51, <br />with the option of purchasing said equipment for the cash price of $1,785:00, less <br />the sum of all payments theretofore made, and <br />1JHEREAS, said bid is the lowest and best bid submitted. <br />NOSd, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Tayfield, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The bid of Kustom Signals, Inc., offering to lease to the <br />Village of Payfield a TR 6 Radar System for a period of 36 months at a rental of <br />$58.51 per month, ~•~ith the option on the part of the Village at any time during <br />the pendency of the lease to purchase the said equipment for the cash price of <br />$1,785.00, less the sum of all payments made, said equipment to be kept in cvorking <br />order at no cost to the lessee, is hereby accepted. <br />Section 2. The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized and empocaered to <br />execute all such documents and do all things necessary to carry out the provisions <br />of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and cvelfare of <br />the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to obtain as soon as possible <br />better police protection through more efficient equipment, and said Ordinance shall <br />go into effect and be in force immediately upon the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of April, 1971. <br />,.-- <br />i ~ ~' <br />rz~~~~'` <br />ATTEST: pig R=PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~' <br />(SEAL•) CLERK-TREAS RER <br /> <br />
