ORDINANCE N0. 91-Z3 IIY: MR. Boaer AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KUSTOM SIGNALS, P~IC. FOR THE LEASING OF RADAR EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Kustom Signals, Inc., a responsible bidder duly filed its bid ~oith the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in accordance with law, offering to lease to the Village a TR 6 Traffic Radar System, in accordance with the specifications, for a period of 36 months, at a monthly rental of $58.51, with the option of purchasing said equipment for the cash price of $1,785:00, less the sum of all payments theretofore made, and 1JHEREAS, said bid is the lowest and best bid submitted. NOSd, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Tayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: Section 1. The bid of Kustom Signals, Inc., offering to lease to the Village of Payfield a TR 6 Radar System for a period of 36 months at a rental of $58.51 per month, ~•~ith the option on the part of the Village at any time during the pendency of the lease to purchase the said equipment for the cash price of $1,785.00, less the sum of all payments made, said equipment to be kept in cvorking order at no cost to the lessee, is hereby accepted. Section 2. The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized and empocaered to execute all such documents and do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of this Ordinance. Section 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and cvelfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to obtain as soon as possible better police protection through more efficient equipment, and said Ordinance shall go into effect and be in force immediately upon the date of its passage.
