ORDINANCE N0. 71-24 <br />BY: MR. SCHMIDT <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WILSON MILLS ROAD <br />TO A CLASS U-3 AA USE DISTRICT (RESTRICTED <br />MULTI-STORY APARTMENT HOUSE) AND CERTAIN OTHER <br />PROPERTY TO A CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that it would be conducive to the public health, <br />peace, safety, comfort, convenience, prosperity and general welfare to transfer <br />certain property hereinafter described from a Class U-1 district to a Class <br />U-3 AA use district (restricted multi-story apartment house) and to transfer <br />certain other property from a Class U-3 AA use district to a Class U-1 use <br />district, and <br />WHE}:EA9, Council finds that this amending Ordinance has been submitted <br />to the Village Planning & Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or <br />suggestions, and that said Commission has allowed a reasonable time for <br />consideration and report, and has approved the same in the form herein set forth, <br />and that a public hearing has been had thereon, and notice of said hearing given <br />in the manner provided by law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The following described property shall be transferred from <br />a Class U-1 use district to a Class U-3 AA use district (restricted multi-story <br />apartment house): <br />Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, <br />and known as being a part of Original Lot Number 37 in Tract Number 1 and being <br />' further bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of a Southeasterly line of land conveyed <br />to upper forty, a joint venture by deed dated December 30, 1968 of Cuyahoga County <br />Records, caith the Easterly line of said Original Lot Number 37, Thence South 72° <br />17' 04" West, along said Southerly line of land conveyed to upper Forty, 233.20 <br />feet to an angle point, Thence continuing South 72° 38' 24" West, along said <br />Southerly line, 85.95 feet to the principal place of beginning of the premises <br />herein intended to be described: <br />COURSE I Thence South 72° 38' 24" West, along said Southerly line 300.00 <br />feet to an angle point; <br />COURSE II Thence North 88° 03' 26" [lest, along a Southerly line of land. <br />conveyed to said upper forty, 293.70 feet to an angle point; <br />COURSE III Thence Southwesterly along a Southeasterly line of land conveyed <br />to upper forty, 194.00 feet to an angle point; <br />
