ORDINANCE N0. 71-41 <br />BY: MR. FITZ-GERALD <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING OFFICERS TO SIGN CHECKS <br />AND OTHER INSTRUMENTS OF WITHDRAidAL ON BANK <br />ACCOUNTS OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD AND REPEALING <br />ORDINANCE N0. 71-28 <br />Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. All checks and other instruments of withdrawal of <br />funds in the Village of Mayfield in any checking accounts, savings accounts, <br />certificates of deposit, or other accounts, in any bank or financial institu- <br />tion, including the Central National Bank of Cleveland, the National City Bank <br />of Cleveland, and the Cleveland Trust Company among others', shall be signed <br />by any t~~7o of the following officers or persons: <br />The Clerk-Treasurer <br />The Piayor <br />President of Council pro tem <br />Section 2. The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to furnish to said <br />banks and financial institutions certified copies of this Ordinance and any <br />necessary signature cards. <br />Section 3. Ordinance No. 71-28 is hereby repealed as of the effective <br />date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants for the <br />reason that it is necessary to pass such ordinance in order that the Village <br />may pay its expenses and meet its obligations, and this Ordinance shall be <br />in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 20th day of September, 1971. <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ <br />(Seal) Clerk-Treasurer <br />. iii <br />ayor- esident of Council <br />
