ORDINANCE N0. 72- Z <br />BY: MR. Bordonaro <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />NORTH OF HIGHLAND ROAD FROPi AN OFFICE-LABORATORY <br />DISTRICT AND PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION DISTRICT TO A <br />CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that the premises hereinafter described, which <br />were rezoned in 1962 for Office-Laboratory and Production-Distribution uses, <br />have never been used for said purposes and that said premises caould be better <br />used for single residence purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that a rezoning back to a single residence <br />use purpose would be conducive to the public health, peace, safety, comfort, <br />prosperity, convenience and general welfare; and <br />idHEREAS, Council finds that this amending ordinance has been submitted <br />to the Village Planning and Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval or <br />suggestion and that said Commission has allowed a reasonable time for considera- <br />tion and report, and has approved the same in the form herein set forth, and <br />that a public hearing,'has been had thereon, and notice of such hearing given in <br />the manner provided by law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY AND STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The following described premises, located north of Highland <br />Road, west of S.O.M. Center Road, along the lots on the north side of Midvale <br />Avenue and east of State Route No. 271, and comprising approximately 200 acres <br />of land, are hereby transferred to a Class U-1 use district (single residence <br />use): <br />(a) The land now in an Office-Laboratory District which adjoins <br />the rear lot lines of the lots abutting on the north side <br />of Highland Road, starting at the point where limited <br />access line of the freeway intersects with the lot line of <br />parcel no. 831-11-4; thence easterly for a distance of about <br />1862.4 feet to a point on said lot line 350 feet coest <br />of the r-o-w line of S.O.M. Center Road; thence northerly <br />to the north lot lines of the lots abutting on the northerly <br />side of Midvale Avenue; thence westerly along said lot lines <br />about 1632 feet to the intersection with the r-o-ca line of <br />the freeway; thence southerly for a distance of 570 feet along <br />said r-o-w line; thence easterly about 1052 feet but specifically <br />940 feet west of the r-o-w line of S.O.Af. Center Road; thence <br />southerly 3279.5 feet and parallel to S.O.M. Center Road to <br />a point on the north lot lines of parcel no. 831-9-3; thence <br />southwesterly for a distance of about 922 feet to a point <br />
