ORDINANCE N0. 72- 24 <br />BY: MR. ROGER <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF VILLAGE HALL <br />SECRETARY AND FIXING THE TENURE, COMPENSATION AND <br />DUTIES TIIEREOF. <br />BG IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. There is hereby created the position of Village Hall <br />secretary, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the majority <br />of members elected to Council, and may be removed at any time by the Mayor. <br />Section 2. The Village Hall secretary shall be a full time employee. <br />The duties of the Village Hall secretary shall be to perform such secretarial <br />services and attend such meetings of the Council, Commissions and Committees <br />of the Village as may be assigned by the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer. <br />Section 3. The compensation of the Village Hall secretary shall be <br />$600.00 per month, but may be changed at any time by resolution or ordinance <br />or by the annual compensation ordinance. In addition, the Village is to pay <br />the same premiums for hospitalization insurance as are paid to other full <br />time employees of the Village. <br />Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants in order <br />that the operations of the V111age may be carried on efficiently and this <br />Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its <br />passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of June, 1972. <br />~ ~ O ~~~~ <br />R - PR IDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />
