ORDINANCE N0. 72-34 <br />BY: Mr. Boger <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES & MANCHESTER <br />COMPANY FOR COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE <br />AND PHYSICAL DAMAGE ON VILLAGE OWNED VEHICLES. <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, has <br />duly advertised for bids, according to law, for comprehensive public liability <br />and property damage insurance covering all operations of the Village; auto- <br />motive liability and property damage insurance with respect to all motor <br />vehicles of the Village; and automotive collision and upset and comprehensive <br />coverage of all loss or damage with respect to all motor vehicles of the <br />Village, according to the specifications on file in the office of said Clerk- <br />Treasurer; and <br />WHEREAS, James & Manchester Company, a duly qualified bidder, to <br />determine whether or not submitted a bid according to law, can provide said <br />insurance for a period of one year at an annual premium of Three Thousand <br />One Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($3,115.00); and <br />WHEREAS, said bid is the lowest and best bid filed in response to the <br />specifications attached to the advertisement for bids. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The bid of James & Manchester Company to provide the above <br />described insurance, according to the specifications on file with the Legal <br />Notice for Bids, at an annual premium of Three Thousand One Hundred Fifteen <br />Dollars ($3,115.00) is hereby accepted. <br />Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order that <br />the Village may be adequately insured against loss in the character hereinabove <br />mentioned, and this Ordinaince shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 16th day of October, 197 <br />,^, rrr <br />PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~ ATTEST: <br />ti,~~~~~ <br />(SEAL- CLERK=TREASURER <br />
