ORDINANCE N0. 72-37 <br />BY: MR. LEECH <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PURCHASE A SNOW PLOW <br />FROM EARL IVES EQUIPMENT CO. <br />idHEREAS, Earl Ives Equipment Co., a responsible bidder, duly filed its <br />bid with the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in accordance with law, <br />offering to sell to the Village a new Burch Ross Model F N R-19-A Snow Plow for <br />the sum of $1,795.00, and said bid is in accordance with the specifications <br />established in connection with the notice for bids, and <br />WHEREAS, said bid of Earl Ives Equipment Co. is the lowest and best bid <br />submitted. <br />NOid, TIiEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TziILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1: The bid of Earl Ives Equipment Co., offering to sell to the <br />Village of Mayfield a new Burch Ross Model F N R-19-A Snow Plow as~more fully <br />described in its bid in response to the advertisements for bids, for the sum of <br />$1,795.00, be, and the same hereby is accepted. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer. of the Village are hereby <br />authorized and empowered to execute all such documents and do all things necessary <br />to carry out the paovisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to obtain, <br />as soon as possible ,better police protection through more efficient equipment, <br />and said Ordinance shall go into effect and be enforced immediately upon the <br />date of its passage. <br />Passed this 16th day of October, - <br />~~~-v <br />- PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />(~ Cork-Treasurer <br />
