v ~~ u V •.. C1) W 0_ o~ CL1 Z ORDINANCE NO. 1057 By: Mr. Davis AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO'. 1017 BY INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE ASSISTANT TO THE CLERK- TREASURER. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1017, entitled "An Ordinance Creating the Position of Assistant.to Clerk-Treasurer and Fixing the Tenure, Compensation and Duties thereof," is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 3. The compensation of the Assistant to the Clerk- Treasurer shall be at the rate of One Dollar and Ninety Cents ($1.90) per hour., effective as of June 1, 1968, which compensation may be changed by Council at any time. Such person shall perform her duties in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer approximately twenty (20) hours per week, in .addition to the time spent in attendance at meetings of Council, Safety and Service Committee, and the Planning and Zoning Commission, for all of which services she shall be compensated at the same hourly rate. Such person shall be entitled to two weeks vaca- tion pay in each calendar year. The pay for vacation purposes shall be computed on the basis of the average pay of such person during said calendar year." L~ I- e LaJ Q L+.J o~ m repealed. Section 2. Existing Section 3 of said Ordinance No. 1017 is hereby Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order that proper personnel may be retained to assist the Clerk-Treasurer, so that his duties may be performed to the best advantage, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the-date of its passage.
