<br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 17,1,0501, 111,0502,
<br />AND 111,1302(a) OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE N0, 1021,
<br />KNOWN AS THE INCOME TAX ORDINANCE, BY INCREASING THE
<br />TAX TO ONE PER CENT PER ANNUM,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA
<br />COUNTY, OHIO; THAT:
<br />Section 1. Sections 111.0501, 111.0502, and 111,1302 (a) of Section
<br />1 of Ordinance No, 1021, known as the Income Tax Ordinance, are hereby amended
<br />to read as follocas:
<br />"Section 111.0501. Rate and Income Taxable,
<br />"An annual tax for the purpose specified in Section
<br />111.0101 hereof shall be imposed on and after July 1, 1968, at the
<br />rate of one per cent per annum upon the following (but, until July
<br />1, 1968, the rate shall remain at one-half of one per cent per annum):
<br />"(1) On all salaries, wages, commissions and other compen-
<br />sation earned on and after.July 1, 1968, by residents of the Village
<br />of Mayfield, Ohio.
<br />"(2) On all salaries, wages, commissions and other compen-
<br />sation earned on and after July 1, 1968, by non-residents of the
<br />Village of Mayfield, Ohio, for work done or services performed or
<br />rendered within the Village of Mayfield, Ohio.
<br />"(3) (a) On the portion attributable to the Village of
<br />Mayfield, Ohio, on the net profits earned on and after July 1, 1968,
<br />of all resident unincorporated business entities or professions or
<br />other activities, derived from sales made, work done, services per-
<br />formed or rendered and business or other activities conducted in the
<br />Village of Payfield, Ohio.
<br />"(b) On the portion of the distributive share of the
<br />net profits earned on and after July 1, 1968, of a resident partner
<br />or owner of a resident unincorporated business entity not attribut-
<br />able to the Village of Mayfield, and not levied against such unin-
<br />corporated business entity,
<br />"(4) (a) On the portion attributable to the Village of
<br />Mayfield of the net profits earned on or after July 1, 1968, of all
<br />non-resident unincorporated business entities, professions or other
