f L <br />'v J <br />ORDINANCE N0. 1075 <br />BY: MR, DAVIS <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES & MANCHESTER CO. <br />FOR COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE AND PHYSICAL <br />DAMAGE ON VILLAGE OWNED VEHICLES. <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, has <br />duly advertised for bids, according to law, for comprehensive public liability <br />and property damage insurance covering all operations of the Village; automotive <br />liability and property damage insurance with respect to all motor vehicles of <br />the Village; and automotive collision and upset and comprehensive coverage of <br />all loss or damage with respect to all motor vehicles of the Village, according <br />to the specifications on file in the Office of said Clerk-Treasurer; and <br />WHEREAS, the James b Manchester Co., a duly qualified bidder, to <br />determine whether or not submitted a bid according to law, can provide said <br />insurance for a period of one year at an annual premium of Two Thousand Two <br />Hundred and Seventy-Two Dollars ($2,272,00); and <br />WHEREAS, said bid is the lowest and best bid filed in response to <br />the specifications attached to the advertisement for bids. <br />NOj+I, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAY- <br />FIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The bid of the James & Manchester Co. to provide the <br />above-described insurance, according to the specifications on file with the <br />Legal Notice for Bids, at an annual premium of Two Thousand Two Hundred and <br />Seventy-Two Dollars ($2,272.00) is hereby accepted. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order <br />that the Village may be adequately insured against loss in the character here- <br />inabove mentioned, and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after the date of its passage, <br />Passed this 16th day of September, 1968. <br />v <br />fi~~ <br />ATTEST: MAY - PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />/M <br />(S L) CLERK- REA~SURER <br /> <br />
