Comella <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 726, KNO[,TN AS THE <br />REGIONAL BUILDING CODE, BY ADDING PARAGRAPH 1675.49, PER- <br />TAINING TO COVERING OF CEMENT BLOCK, CEPIENT BRICK, CINDER <br />BLOCK AND HOLLOW TILE ABOVE GRADE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TAE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 726, known as the Regional Building Code, <br />is hereby amended by adding paragraph 1675.49, which shall read as follows: <br />"1675.49. Covering of Cement Block, Cement Brick, Cinder <br />Block and Hollow Tile Above Grade. All cement block, cement brick, <br />cinder block and hollow the above grade must be covered by approved <br />brick or siding." <br />In all other respects, said Ordinance No. 726, shall remain in full <br />force and effect. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order <br />to prevent construction above grade which is not properly covered by brick or <br />siding, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 17th day of Februa~ 196~i, <br />J <br />~~ <br />ATTEST: OR - RESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~J~ ~~ <br />(SEAL CLERK-TREASURER <br /> <br />
