FITZGERALD <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES 6 MANCHESTER CO. <br />FOR COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE AND PHYSICAL <br />DAPIAGE ON VILLAGE OWNED VEHICLES. <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, has <br />duly advertised for bids, according to law, for comprehensive public liability <br />and property damage insurance covering all operations of the Village; automotive <br />liability and property damage insurance with respect to all motor vehicles of <br />the Village; and automotive collision and upset and comprehensive coverage of <br />all loss or damage with respect to all motor vehicles of the Village, according <br />to the specifications on file in the office of said.Clerk-Treasurer; and <br />WHEREAS, the James & Manchester Co., a duly qualified bidder, to <br />determine whether or not submitted a bid according to law, can provide said <br />insurance for a period of one year at an annual premium of Two Thousand Four <br />Hundred and Forty:.Dollats ($2,440.00); and <br />WHEREAS, said bid is the lowest and best bid filed in response to <br />the specifications attached to•the advertisement for bids. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of <br />Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The bid of the James & Manchester Co. to provide the <br />above-described insurance, according to the specifications on file with the <br />Legal Notice for Bides, at an annual premium of Two Thousand Four Hundred Forty <br />Dollars ($2,440.00) is hereby accepted. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order <br />that the Village may be adequately insured against loss in the character here- <br />inabove mentioned, and this Ordinance shall be in full farce and effect from <br />and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 20th day of October, 1969. <br />>~ ~' <br />~° MA~jOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />J~'~~ . . <br />(SEAL) CLE -TREASURER <br />
