ORDINANCE N0.69-47 <br />BY: MR. FITZ GERALD <br />AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE REMOVAL OF SNOW AND ICE <br />FROM CERTAIN STREETS AND ROADS BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved a <br />Snow and Ice Removal Program for the 1969 - 1970 Winter Season; and <br />WHEREAS, a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and ice are Municipal Streets and also County Roads known by the following <br />names and lying between the limits designated, viz: <br />Road From To <br />Highland Road Westerly Village Line S.O.M. Center Road <br />Wilson Mills Road Lander Road Easterly Village Line <br />Lander Road Wilson Mills Road Southerly Village Line <br />Ridgebury Boulevard Westerly Village Line Easterly Village Line <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the <br />consent of the Municipality be and such consent is hereby given to the removal of <br />snow and ice on the above mentioned highways between the termini aforesaid, by <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, and safety; such <br />necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms may soon create <br />hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence whereof great public inconvenience <br />would be suffered and public travel endangered and delayed; and said ordinance shall <br />take effect at the earliest time as provided by law and upon acceptance by the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk be, and he is hereby, directed to furnish to <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, a certified copy of <br />this Ordinance immediately upon the adoption thereof. <br />Passed this 17th day of November, 1969. ~ <br />~y~ <br />a <br />MA?YOR-P ESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />/~1~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK- REASURER <br />
