ORDINANCE N0. 70-55 <br />BY: MR. LEECH <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MILLER PLUMBING & <br />HEATING CO. FOR THE HEATING AND VENTILLATING idORK <br />IN CONNECTION idZTH THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE VILLAGE HALL <br />WHEREAS, advertisement for bids has been published according to law for <br />the heating and ventillating work in connection with the reconstruction of the ' <br />Village Hall, and <br />t,~fIEREAS, the bid of Miller Plumbing & Heating Co., a responsible bidder, <br />in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($25,495.00), <br />is the locaest and best bid submitted. <br />NOid, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The bid of 14111er Plumbing & Heating Co. in the amount of <br />Twenty-Five Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($25,495.00) for the heating <br />and ventillating work in connection with the reconstruction of the Village Hall <br />building, is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract in 'writing caith said bidder for <br />such purpose, in accordance caith the advertised specifications and the bid submitted. <br />Section 2. Said sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Five <br />Dollars ($25,495.00) is hereby appropriated for said purpose. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants because it is necessary to <br />provide housing for the Village operations, and said Ordinance shall be in full <br />farce and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of December, 1970. <br />ATTEST: <br />.. _~ ~ <br />r` <br />(r''MAYOR=PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~/liY~ W ~ l~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK- REASURER <br />
