ORDINANCE N0. 70-56 <br />BY: MR. LEECH <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HI-CITE ELECTRICAL <br />CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR THE ELECTRICAL WORK IN CONNECTION <br />[JITH THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE VILLAGE HALL <br />WHEREAS, advertisement for bids has been published according to laor for <br />the electrical work in connection with the reconstruction of the Village Hall, and <br />[dHEREAS, the bid of Hi-Cite Electrical Construction Co ., a responsible <br />bidder, in the amount of Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($16,300.00), is <br />the lowest and best bid submitted. <br />NO[d, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The bid of Hi-Cite Electrical Construction Co. in the amount <br />of Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($16,300.00) for the electrical work in <br />connection with the reconstruction of the Village Hall building, is hereby accepted, <br />and the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />a contract in writing with said bidder for such purpose, in accordance with the <br />advertised specifications and the bid submitted. <br />Section 2. Said sum of Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($16,300.00) <br />is hereby appropriated for said purpose. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared tc be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants because it is necessary to <br />provide housing for the Village operations, and said Ordinance shall be in full <br />force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of December, 1970. <br />ATTEST: <br />~''l MAYOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />/U7~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK-T ASURER <br /> <br />
