71 <br />ORDINANCE No. 861 <br />By Mr. Sloan <br />,AN ORDINANCE GIVINE THE CONSENT OF THE V1ZtAGE OF <br />Ms15CFIELD TO THE REMOV,AL OF SNOW AND, ICE FRCM CERTAIN <br />ROt1D5 WITHIN THE VILIAGE <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved <br />a Snow and Ice Removal program for the years 1964 - 1965; and <br />WHEREASt a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and ice are Village streets and also County roads knoom by the <br />following names and lying between the li.mits designated, viz: <br />ROAD <br />Highland Road <br />Wilson Mills Road <br />I.ander Road <br />Ridgebury Boulevard <br />FROri <br />Westerly Village Line <br />Lander Road <br />Wilson Mills Road <br />TO <br />S.O.M. Center Road <br />Easterly Village Line <br />Southerly Village Litte <br />Within the li.mits of the Village of May£ield <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VII,lAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That it is declared to be of public interest that the <br />consent of the Village be and such consent is hereby given to the removal <br />of snow and ice on the above mentioned highways between the terntitti a£oresaid. <br />Section 2: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emefgency <br />ordinance necessary for the i.mmediate preservation of the public health and <br />safety; such necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms <br />may soon create hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequettce whereof <br />great public inconvenience would be suffered and public travel endangered <br />and delayed. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to furnish <br />to the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, a certified <br />copy of this Ordinance immediately upon the taking effect thereof. <br />Passed this 19th day of October, 1964. <br />Attest: <br />4/% -9 <br />?
