<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO,
<br />298,_ AS AMENDED. .,BY_INCREASING THE COI?iPENSATION OF
<br />THE ASSISTANT BUILDING_INSPECT08.& SERVICE_AIRECTOB
<br />BE IT ORDAINCED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA
<br />COUNTY,_,OHIO, THAT: .. ,
<br />SeC. 1:--Section 3 of Ordinance No. 298, entitled: "An
<br />Ordinance Com?iining,the Position of Building Inspector, Maintenance
<br />Supervisor of Sewer Pumps, Custodian.of the Village Hall,, and School
<br />Guard, under the Title of 'Building Inspector and Service Director"
<br />as amended by Ordinances Nos. 697, 7310 756, 7659 7942 849, 881, and
<br />886, is Hereby amended to_,Read as Follows:
<br />"Sec. 3. The compensation of the Building Inspector &
<br />Servi Sirector shall be at the rate of $4,498.00 per ..
<br />year, and at the rate of $2.90 for each hour in excess of
<br />44 per_week, but may be changed from time to time by
<br />Council by Ordinance or Resolution. An Assistant Building
<br />Inspector & Service Director, whose duties shall be to
<br />assist the..Building Inspector & Service Direator, shall be
<br />appointed by the Building Inspector & 5ervice Director,.
<br />subject to confirmation by vote of Council, and shall serve
<br />until removed by the Building Inspector & Service Director,
<br />and shall be compensated, beginning July..l, 1965, at the
<br />rate of $5,700.00 per year, but his compensation may be
<br />_changed from time to time by Council-by ordinance or resolu-
<br />tion.The ASSistant Building Inspector & Service Director
<br />shall,-also be paid_the sum of $2.40 for each hour worked in
<br />excess of 44 hours in any one week. Beginning with the
<br />month of May, 1965, the Village shall_also pay to Blue Cross
<br />of Northeast Ohio, Inc.,,_the premiums for hospitalization
<br />and medical mutual insurance (now costing approximately
<br />$21.40 per month) for the Building Inspector and Service
<br />Director and the_Assistant.Building,Inspector and Service
<br />Director, The compensation_of skilled laborers and other
<br />employees to assist the Building Inspector-& Service Director,
<br />except for the C3erk, whose compensation is__fixed by another
<br />ordinance, shall be at the rate of'$1.85 per hour. Persons
<br />designated by the Building Inspector & Service Director as
<br />unskilled employees in the Service Department shall be com-
<br />pensated._at the rate of $1.25 per hour. All permit fees
