ORDINANCE No. 903 <br />By Mr. Shaw <br />? AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ,AN AGREMI6NT WITH THE <br />VILI.AGE OF WILLOUGH$Y HILLS FOR MUTUAL AID. BY. _ <br />? FIRE PROTECTION <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CWNCII, OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: . . . . .. -- - ---- - <br />Sec. 1. The Mayor and the Clerk of the Village of May£ield, Ohio, <br />are hereby authorized and directed to,enter ittto an Agreement on behalf of <br />said Village with the Village of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, whereby each <br />Municipality agrees whenever necessary and practicable, to render fire <br />protection services in case of emergency, temporarily to augment the fire <br />protection facilities of the other party requesting assistance. Said <br />Agreement shall be in form substantially as Exhibit "A" attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof. The Agreement shall be executed on behalf oE this <br />Village by the Mayor and the Clerk and, when executed, shall be in full <br />force and effect for a period of three years following the execution thereof, <br />providing, however, that either party may terminate the Agreement upon giving <br />30 days written notice to the Clerk of the Council of the party upon whom <br />said notice is served. <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, saEety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to <br />safeguard person and property from the hazards of fire, and shall go into <br />effect and be in force as an emergency measure from and after the date of <br />its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of July, 1965. <br />Attest: <br />Mayor - Presidettt of Council <br />(SEAL) J er c
