Diason <br />AN ORDINANCE GIVING TIIE CONSENT OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />MAYFIhZD TO THE REMOVAL OF SNOW AND ICE FROM _ <br />CERTAIN,ROADS,WITHIN THE VILLAGE. . __ _ <br />WHEREAS, the Soard of County Commissioners has tentatively approved a <br />Snow and_Ice Removal_program for the years 1965 - 1966; and <br />. <br />WHEREAS, a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and.ice are Village streets and also County roads known by the following <br />names and 7ying between the limits designated, viz: <br />Road <br />Highland Road <br />Wilson Mills Road <br />I,ander Road <br />Ridgebury Blvd. <br />From <br />Westerly Village Line <br />Zander Road <br />Wilsott, Mills Rd. <br />Westerly Village I.ine <br />To <br />S.O.H. Center Road <br />Easterly Village I,ine <br />Southerly Village_ <br />Easterly Village I.ine <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY TFIE CWNCIL OE THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIII.D, <br />STATE OF OHIO: _ - . _ _ , • - ' , - - • , . _ . . . . , _ , . <br />Sec. 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the consent <br />of the Village be and such consent is hereby given to the removal of snow and <br />ice on the above mentioned highways between the termini aforesaid. <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety; such <br />necessity euists by reason of the fact that snow ans sleet storms may soon <br />create hazardous conditions on these roads, in eonsequence whereof great public <br />inconvenience would be suEfered and public travel endangered and delayed. <br />Sec. 3. That the Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to furnish to <br />the Board of County Commissiotters of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, a certified copy <br />of this Ordinance immediately upon the taking effect thereof. <br />Passed this 15th day of November, 1965. <br />Attest: <br />, • Mayor - president of CouncirP <br />n dJ et n??.v <br />(A TEST) Clerk
