OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIII.D, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />OHIO, THAT:.._ . . . - - -- .- - .. ..• ..., ..,.... . _ <br />Sec. 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 541, entitled; "7;n Ordinance to <br />Regulate the Use, Storage and Trattsportation of Explosives for Blasting <br />Purposes'and Pyrotechnic Displays" as amended by Ordinance No.,658, is hereby <br />amended to read, as follows: <br />"Sec. 3. The Village Engineer or his designee shall act as <br />Inspeetor to supervise the drilling, charging, and shooting of all <br />holes with explosives,and will be paid at the rate of compensation <br />fixed in the current ordinance employing such Engineer by the Village. <br />? The person, firm or corporation performing such operations shall <br />reimburse the Village for the amouttt charged by the Enginees for <br />such supervision and inspection." _ <br />Sec. 2. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 541, as amended by Ordinance No. <br />658, is hereby repealed as of the effective date of this ordinance. <br />See. 3. This ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />ttecessary £or the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants in order to obtain <br />capable inspection and supervision of blasting operations, and said ordinance <br />shall be in force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 17th day of January, 1966. <br />Attest: q <br />S[?.m <br />Mayor - President of Council <br />. ? . . _. <br />(SEAL) Cl rlc
