ORDINANCE No. 944 <br />By Mr. Shaw <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE N0. 887 <br />BY INCREASING THE,COMPENSATION OF_THE.CLERK OF THE <br />MAYOR'S COURT & TOWN IIAI,I, CLERK <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TNE COUNCII, OF THE VILZAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 887, entitled; "An Ordinance <br />Creating the Position of Clerk of the Mayorts Court & Town,Hall C1erk, <br />Fixing the Tenure, Compensation, and Duties Thereof, and Repealing Ordinances <br />Nos. 650, 757, and 856,11is hereby ameRded to.read as follocas: <br />"Sec. 2. Beginning as of April 1, 1966, the Clerk of the Mayor*s <br />Court & Town Hall Clerk shall be compensated at the rate of $1.90 per <br />hour, but suoh compensation may be changed at atty time by resolution <br />or ordinance passed by Council, and the occupant of said position <br />shall have two weeks vacation with pay each year at such time as is <br />specified by the Diayor. The vacation pay shall be computed upoh the <br />basis of the average weekly pay received by the occupant of said <br />office during the calendar year in which the vacation is granted." <br />Sec. 2. Existing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 887, is hereby repealed <br />as of the effective date of this ordinance. <br />Sec. 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, <br />and welfare of.the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order that <br />proper personnel may be obtained to do the work of the Mayor's Court, the <br />Police Department and the Service Department, and this Ordinance shall take <br />effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of March, 1966. <br />Attest: 03-01 ?
