ORDINANCE No. 947 <br />By Mr. Mason <br />,AN ORDINANCE PROAIBITING TNE DEPOSIT OF SNOW ON <br />PUBI,IC,STREETS AND.REPEALING ORDINANCE_N0. 654 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VII.I.AGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: - <br />Sec. 1. No persott removing snow from any driveway or sidewalk or property <br />caithin this Village shall deposit same on the pavement or traveled portion or <br />sidewalk of any public street. <br />Sec. 2. Any person violating this Ordinance shall be fined in an amount <br />not exceeding $50.00 and shall stand committed until the same is paid. <br />Sec. 3. Existing Ordittance No. 654 is hereby repealed as of this date. <br />Sec. 4. This Ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield attd its inhabitants, because of the <br />fact that snow thrown on the public streets tends to freeze and become icy, <br />thereby endangering life and limb, and this Ordinance shall go into effect <br />from and after the date o£ its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of March, 1966. <br />Attest; <br />(gEAL) Clerl -Treasurer <br />Mayor - <br />
