ORDINANCE No. 1032 <br />By Mr. Walker <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PURCHAST A NEW POLICE AUTOMOBILE <br />FROM DEACON'S CHRYSLER-PLYMOUTH, INC. <br />WHEREAS, Deacon`a Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc., a responsible bidder, duly <br />Eiled its bid with the Clerk-Treasurer of.the Village of Mayfield in accordance <br />with law, offering to sell to the Village a new 1968 Chrysler 4-Door Sedan <br />Automobile, equipped according to the specifications on file in the office of <br />the Clerk-Treasurer, for the total sum of $3,248.97, and to purchase from the <br />Village the used 1966 Pontiac Automobile currently being uaed by the Police <br />Department for the sum of $850.00, the balance of $2,398.97 to be paid by <br />the Village in cash, which is irt accordance with the advertisement far bids <br />published by the Clerk-Treasurer; and <br />Wf3EREAS, the said bid of Deacon°s Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc, is the lowest <br />and best bid submitted, and all other bids are hereby rejected. <br />NOW THEREFORE BS IT ORDAINED BY TAE COUNCIL OF TAE VILLAGE OF MAYFISLD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY OftIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The bid of Deacon's Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc., offering to sell <br />to the Village of Mayfield a new 1968 Chrysler 4-Door Sedan Automobile to be <br />used for Police purposes, aceording to the specifications on Eile in the office <br />of the Clerk-Treasurer in connection with the advertisement for bida, for the <br />sum of $3,248.97, of which $850.00 is to be paid by the Village by transferring <br />to said Deacon's Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc. title to the 1966 Pontiac automobile <br />now used by the Police Department of the Village, and the balance of $2,398.97 <br />is to be paid in cash, be a¢d the same is hereby accepted. <br />Sec. 2. The Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village are herebq <br />authorized and empowered to execute all such documents and do all things <br />necessary to carry out the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Sec. 3.
