ORDINANCE No. 1034 <br />AN ORDINANCE GIVING CONSENT QF THE VILI,AGE OF MAYFIELD <br />FOR THE REMOVAL OF SNOW AND ICE FRCN1 CERTAIN ROADS <br />WITHIN THE VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved a <br />'Snow and Ice Removal program for the years 1967- 1968; and <br />By Mr. Davis <br />WHEREAS, a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove snow <br />and ice are Village streets and also County roads known by the following names <br />and lying between the limits designated, viz: <br />Road <br />From <br />To <br />Highland Road <br />Wilson Mills Road <br />Lander Road <br />Ridgebury Blvd. <br />Westerly Village Line <br />Lander Road <br />Wilson Mills Road <br />Westerly Village Line <br />S.O.M. Center Road <br />Easterly Village Line <br />Southerly Village Line <br />Easterly Village Line <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY TNE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the consent <br />of the Village be and such consent is hereby given to the removal of snow and <br />ice on the above mentioned highways between the tezmini aforesaid. <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety; such <br />necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms may soon create <br />hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence whereof great public incon- <br />venience would be suffered and public travel endangered and delayed. <br />Sec. 3. That the Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to furnish to the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Cuqahoga County, Ohio, a certified copy of this <br />Ordinance iffinediately upon the taking effect thereof. <br />Passed this 16th day of October, 1967. <br />Attest: ? t? <br />1 ?\ q M,,.. o r lM.a,u A. <br />Mayor - President of Cauncil <br />vV" / <br />(Seal) Clerk-Treasurer
