ORDINANCE NO. 2002- 38 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND GRANTING VARIOUS EASEMENTS TO THE EAST OHIO GAS COMPANY d/b/a DOMINION EAST OHIO AS AND FOR THE RELOCATION OF A GAS PIPE LINE IN CONNECTION WITH THE S.O.M. CENTER ROAD WIDENING PROJECT WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield has been proceeding with the widening of S.O.M. Center Road, between Wilson Mills Road north to White Road; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this project a certain gas line must be relocated requiring the granting of various easements by the Village of Mayfield over land which the gas line will be constructed; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield desires to authorize and grant such easements to the East Ohio Gas Company d/b/a Dominion East Ohio. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: I , SECTION 1. The Village of Mayfield hereby authorizes and gran t the East Ohio Gas Company d/b/a Dominion East Ohio various gas line easements for the construction, inspection, maintenance and repair of the gas line as more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 2. The parcels overwhich the gas line easement is being authorized and granted are also known as follows: Permanent Parcel No. 831-07-005 831-07-006 831-07-010 831-07-002 831-07-003 831-07-008 SECTION 3. Further, the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the acceptance of these gas line easements and thereafter, to take the necessary steps for the recordation thereof. SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action,
