Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOI.UTIE}N OF AFPI?ECIATI ON TO WALaMART <br />WHEIZEAS, Mayfield Village recognize"s Wal-Mart as a new business in the <br />community; and <br />WHERE.AS, Mayfield Village Recreation Deparkment, Mayfield Village Fire <br />DeparEment and Mayfield Township Historical Society were the recipients of donations; and <br />WHEREAS, the donation to Mayfield Village Recreation's prograans will be used for <br />Easter, Halloween and Christmas festivities; and <br />WHEREAS, the donations to tlie Mayfield Township Historical Society will be used <br />for the preservation of the Bennett VanCuren Historical House; and <br />WHEIZEAS, the donation to Mayfield Village Fire Department will be used for the <br />Fire Safety I3ot7se as a learning center for children in the Mayfield School District; and <br />BE IT RESOL'VED BY THE MAYOR ANI) COUNCII, OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, O]EIIO THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of the entire <br />administration, eniployees and residents of the municipality, fihank Wal-Mart for their generous <br />donations. <br />'Section 2. The Qerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare duplicate original <br />copies of the Resolution. One such original shall be presented to Wal-Mart as a small token pf the <br />esteem in which it is held by the residents, officials and employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio. The other <br />original shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village as a lasting tribute to Wal-Mart. <br />Section 3. Tlus resolution shall become effective upon its adoption by Council and signature of <br />the Mayor, or as may otherwise be provided for law. <br />PASSED: <br />G. RINKEIZ, MA' <br />Ll
