RESOLUTION NO. 2004-31 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY TREASURER <br />TO ADVANCE FROM THE PROCEEDS OF TAX LEVIES <br />FOIS THE COLLECTION YEAR 2005 <br />WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that money in a County <br />Treasurer to the account of a local authority and lawfully applicable to the purpose of the current fiscal <br />year may be withdrawn by a municipality upon the proper request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that sound fiscal policy requires that such <br />withdrawal be requested from Cuyahoga County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Cuyahoga County Auditor be and is hereby requested to draw warrants and <br />the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby requested to pay the Village of Mayfield all monies <br />presently being held in the Cuyahoga County Treasury to the account of the Village of Mayfield, <br />lawfully applicable to the purpose of the fiscal year 2005. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed immediately to forward a copy <br />of this Resolution to the Cuyahoga County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating <br />to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in <br />meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4.
