RESOLUTION NO. 94-32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />WITH T.C. CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. FOR THE <br />CONCRETE STREET REPAIR PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF TWELVE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY <br />DOLLARS. <br />WHEREAS, it has already been deemed necessary and in the best <br />interests of the health, safety and welfare of all of the Village <br />residents to have concrete street repair conducted within the <br />Village; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to law, bids were advertised by the Village, <br />those bids were received, and it was determined that the bid of <br />T.C. Construction Co., Inc. was the best bid. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with T.C. Construction Co., Inc. <br />to perform concrete street repairs to certain streets within the <br />. Village, pursuant to the bids and specifications as advertised by <br />the Village, and pursuant to that company's bid in the amount of <br />Twelve Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($12,750.00), as <br />received by the Village, which is hereby and herein determined to <br />be the best bid, and pursuant to terms and conditions set forth in <br />these documents. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village. <br />It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by law. <br />J NE CINCO, - <br />ncil President
