RESOLUTION NO. 94-36 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />EXTENDING THE SPECIAL USE PERMIT GRANTED TO THE <br />MAYFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FOR AN ADDITIONAL THREE YEARS <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council granted a special use permit on <br />October 21, 1991, to the Mayfield United Methodist Church for a <br />program now known as the "Open Arms Preschool"; and <br />WHEREAS, the special use permit will expire on October 21, <br />1994; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to extend the special use <br />permit granted.by Resolution No. 91-86 for an additional three <br />years under the same terms and conditions as the original <br />Resolution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the special use permit granted to the <br />Mayfield United Methodist Church for its Open Arms Preschool, <br />formerly known as the "Mothers Day Out Program", is hereby and <br />herein extended for an additional three years, upon the same terms <br />and conditions as set forth in Resolution No. 91-86, which are <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village. <br />It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by law. <br />J E CINCO, <br />o ncil President <br />1 First Reading: September 19 , 1994 <br />J Second Reading: Suspended , 1994 <br />Third Reading: Suspended , 1994
