ORDINANCE NO. 94- 13 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING TFE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />HOLLAWELL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING <br />0 <br />? <br />PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE CONSULTING SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council has deemed it necessary and in the <br />best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents <br />to retain the services of a property and casualty insurance consulting <br />service which is expected to obtain the best available liability <br />insurance coverage at the most reasonable prices. <br />NOW, THII2EFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TFE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into an agreement with Hollowell Consulting Services <br />pursuant to the terms of that particular agreement which includes the <br />payment of a service fee of $3,200.00, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have <br />been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of <br />this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of <br />the Ohio Revised Code. <br />!? This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the further reasons set <br />forth in the?? preamble hereof. It shall, therefore, take effect <br />immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than <br />five (5) memb6rs elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or <br />otherwise at t?e earliest time allowed by law. <br />APPROVED <br />ATTEST: <br />-1-Msxch 21 :N , 1994
