ORDINANCE NO. 9 4- 44 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />CREATING THE UNION CEMETERY FUND AND THE <br />CEMETERY TRUST FUND WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to create additional funds for the <br />operation of the Union Cemetery by the Village of Mayfield. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. There is hereby and herein created a"Union <br />Cemetery Fund" which will handle all financial operations of the <br />Union Cemetery currently administered by the Board of Trustees from <br />Mayfield Village, Mayfield Heights and Highland Heights. Such fund <br />will be a special revenue fund and would cover all operations of <br />the cemetery. <br />SECTION 2. There is hereby and herein created a"Cemetery <br />Trust Fund", which will be an expendable trust fund used for the <br />principal and interest of a trust established for the purpose of <br />purchasing flowers for the graves of the Anton and Elizabeth <br />Holiday. <br />, SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />? actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />?have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action,' took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
