ORDINANCE NO. 94 50 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 94-37 RELATIVE TO THE <br />PURCHASE OF A PICKUP TRUCK <br />WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 94-37, the Village authorized the <br />trade in and purchase of a pickup truck for a net purchase price <br />not to exceed Fourteen Thousand Dollars ($14,000.00); and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the trade in vehicle can <br />be used by the Village in another department, at a savings to the <br />Village; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to authorize an <br />amendment to Ordinance No. 94-37 by eliminating the trade in of the <br />existing Village vehicle, and authorizing a purchase price of the <br />new pickup truck not to exceed Twenty-One Thousand Five Hundred <br />Eighty Dollars ($21,580.00). <br />1VOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 94-37 is hereby and herein <br />amended by eliminating the trade in of an existing- Village vehicle, <br />and authorizing the payment of the full purchase price of Twenty- <br />One Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Dollars ($21,580.00) as and for a <br />new pickup truck. <br />SECTION 2. The rest and remainder of Ordinance No. 94-37, <br />other than that which is inconsistent herewith, shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof. It shall, <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by law. <br />? <br />O ?NE CINCO_ <br />Co ncil President
